I loved this game! I got the 2nd ending first then went back and got the 1st one and cried because it was so beautiful. I usually don't leave comments or reviews but this game was amazing so I thought I should say something. I wish this game was more popular but hopefully more people play it!
ahhhh it was pretty short but enough to be a standalone game, a project that tells the story in itself the atmosphere felt somber and melancholic but cozy
I already said what I said in my rating, but I'd still like to leave a comment! It's so good. "(The romance is not with the corpse kissing character)" has me dead lmao. I just finished the first ending and I'm going to do the second one, though I wish there had been a true ending sorta? One for the ex's further backstory and Motive incase it wasn't mentioned in ending 2. I also really like Avery, and Doe. This game was developed and written so well and the art is scrumptious. The music sounded incredible too.
This was a very unique & hauntingly beautiful visual novel. Amazing blind pick and i knew i wouldn't regret it by the synopsis itself.
Such intimate writing and i say that because you immerse yourself into the story to the point where it leaves you pondering through and not focus on the 'why' but the mystery behind everything else. You loose yourself in the MC because you want them to find that "why" out from the ex or get some answers but i found myself picking details & clues out with the highlighted tooltip (kept marveling at that the entire time). You can tell these characters were thoroughly written with love, this whole VN was!

Myosotis was... breathtakingly beautiful. I won’t go too deep into the story, but I can say this: it brought me to tears by the end. The writing was so heartfelt, and the sprites were absolutely lovely. From the moment I started, I was completely invested and couldn’t put it down.
One feature I especially adored was the tooltip system. It was such an interesting addition and added so much extra depth to the experience. The slight touch of romance (mentioned as just a side note by the creator) was sweet and subtle. It never distracted from the main story, but instead added a gentle warmth to it. I would’ve loved to spend more time with the character and learn even more about them and maybe even about the jerk (ex)boyfriend who killed me, but honestly, the story wrapped up so beautifully that it didn’t need anything more.
This game was truly a job well done by everyone involved.

I'm so glad I downloaded it when I saw it, without reading any comments or the synopsis haha- otherwise, I wouldn't have had the same reaction (or maybe still). AAAAAAAAAAAAA there's so many brilliant games this year that my favorites are always increasing. Also, this game (funnily) made me question reality for things I can't quite explain- lol.
I've literally just started the game, but I have to stop and compliment you here for the incredible first scene, the excellent use of flavour comments for additional backstory and flair (spoiler: the "O Positive" comment was brilliant). I can't wait to play through the whole thing!

I'm sure describing the ambiance despite having muted "ghost senses" was a challenge (I'm not sure ghosts can smell things? lol) but you still did what I thought was a great job!

No amount of praise would be enough for this masterpiece, the writing and everything else are perfect for me. This game is so creative and full of surprises, i didn't even expect the plot-twist. The tooltip is a must-read, it has a bunch of interesting informations and it kind of leads you to the first ending(I'm assuming it's the "good ending"). I feel so bad for our ghost boy, he deserves so much better 😭

Why did your killer kiss your corpse? And the narration hints he did love MC....but there's not a real explanation of why he killed. Like it hints he was jealous of (spoiler) but that's it. Also I wish we got Avery's POV. :(
I loved this game!! First of all, I loved the game mechanics. I love how you can hover on certain words, and that helps unveil the mystery. It really helped set this game apart from others I've played before. Second of all, I loved the story. I went to download this game not expecting much, maybe just a guy who fake-dated the MC just to get to the corpse of his beloved, like a weird necrophilic yandere or something, cause I saw the "kissed the corpse" warning. But when that scene played out, it was totally unexpected and I loved it. There were a lot of moments that felt very scary, especially in the beginning. It really unnerved me, but the ending i got was so sweet and I loved it ever since the other ghost came.

I didn’t expect to see the MC die in real time!! I expected to fully boot up a game as a ghost, and slowly reveal the reason for the MC’s death, so that really caught me off guard. This was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish, and I really liked the plot twist and how it reframed everything, and it didn’t feel unnecessary and everything clicked in my head and I hate the ex/bad friend, he’s just so diabolical. Also, I had a hunch that the masked person was Avery, but i only realized it a couple of scenes before it was revealed, so I got really scared. Anyways, I love the plot twists, and how you unveil the story little by little. It was a wonderful experience.

there was a phantasm bit where it was written that he did love mc? but he'd pretend he didn't so he doesnt have to think about it? i wonder if it was because jude was wearing ethan's "mask" and it was more of a throwback to ethan?.... i think the reason he killed the mc is because she stayed up late and he was afraid she was snooping around? maybe he wanted to throw out the ids, but forgot about it because of adrenaline rush? also he did kiss the mc's corpse....yikes.
god i cant expressenough how much i loved this. THE TEARS!!! THE TEARS!!! loved it. never playing again. my heart is way too weak. its wonderful. amazing story. cant express enough the feeeeeelings it made me feel. the bittersweet tone. the endings. the justice ending. bro i want to cry because like. you cant bring doe's and mc's lives back. they're dead for sure. and their murderer was brought to justice, sure. but still. i think its because of how real the story is actually. the raw reality of cold blood murder, that some people just arent searched for sometimes. the ignorance of police. the tone, the atmosphere, THE MUSIC. the music added SO MUCH. SO MUCH. bless everyone who worked on this i hate you lovingly why did you make me go through such emotions/jjjjj maybe im oversensitive but alas maybe im the target audience. god i love it sm.
This is the first time I have ever left a comment on a visual novel. I know I just had to after completing both endings and was left absolutely stunned. I LOVED the plot twist at the ending, and thought it was very fitting for "Ethan."

Like I said, the plot twist made complete sense for Jude's character. He was clearly arrogant and could not stand to have others shining brighter than him. This was especially evident when we are left with a clue that Ethan was strangled because he had better academic marks than his "friend." Jude was manipulative and had an ego. Not only did he kill Ethan, but he also had taken over his life, and had even managed to date the girl he was interested in. It almost feels like as if he had done this on purpose just to show off to Ethan. Almost like a, "look at me, I'm now you, I have everything I ever wanted from you, and I'm even dating the girl you never had the chance to confess to." (damn, and remember that Ethan was able to see everything that Jude was doing so it's worse) I don't think that Jude ever loved MC at all. Apart from being the girl that Ethan liked, he showed absolute zero guilt and only showed any sort of emotions when HE felt like HE was going to get caught. He only ever cared about himself.
In conclusion, Jude is stinky, and I wish I could fist fight him. Avery is the bestie we all wish for.
